天然氣通過前置過濾除塵、除水后，在吸附塔內，利用吸附劑在低溫下超強吸水特性而吸附天然氣中的水分,再通過后置過濾器除塵,達到凈化天然氣的目的。當吸附塔一塔吸附劑趨于吸附飽和時，需要脫附(再生)，此時切換至另一塔吸附;少量凈化后的天然氣通過循環(huán)風機加壓，再經加熱進入再生塔，再生塔內的水份由高溫氣體帶出塔體，再經冷卻分離除水后進入吸附塔，達到再生無耗氣的目的。
